Dr Sandeep(Sonu) Talwar is a leading infertility specialist in the city with more than 30 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics & gynaecology. She has been practicing infertility & IVF for more than 26years.She was fortunate to work in Unit of IVF at Sir Ganga Ram hospital for 16yrs. This unit has more than 1000 babies to its credit. She has performed independent IVF procedures for more than 30yrs as well as advanced Endoscopy procedures..She has been actively involved with teaching of DNB candidates & training of Fellows in Infertility & Reproductive Medicine.She has been appointed as an examiner & Inspector for Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine under National board of Examinations and has also gone as an Inspector for accreditation of hospital for FNB accreditation.After that she joined as head of deptt. IVF & Infertilty, B.L.K.Superspeciality hospital ,where she worked for 2 years.Subsequently she worked for one year at Bournhall Clinic,Gurgaon for one year. At present she is working as Senior Consultant, Southend Fertility & IVF Centre,  Vasant Vihar, Delhi

 

Last attended Scientific Meetings:

• Organized a 2 day CME in Feb.2012”Fertility Solutions”-Workshop at B.L.K.Superspeciality hospital & whole day Conference at Jaypee Siddharth

• Guest Faculty at ISAR at Raipur(Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction)-Participated in a debate on “Single vs Sequential Embryo Transfer”

• Attended the ESHREE conference 2012 at Istanbul

• Delivered a Guest Lecture on “Management Strategies for Ovulation Induction in Clomiphene Resistant PCOS” in World Congress on Ovulation      Induction at Goa(Sept.2012)

• Delivered a lecture on”Management of PCOS” in Annual Conference of Indian Fertilty Conference at Jodhpur (Dec.2012)

• Activities Under National Board of Examinations(NBE):-

• Appointed as an Inspector for re-accreditation of various institutions for Fellowship in Infertility

> Published a chapter on “Donor IUI” in textbook on Step by Step Intrauterine Insemination.

> Published a chapter on Testing Tubal Patency: Role of HSG in IFS Guideline book on An Effective

   Approach to Basic Evaluation of Subfertile Couple
